The Raven’s Crypt was born from a simple conviction: stories deserve a physical home. In an age of screens and algorithms, we press the words we love into vinyl, tape, and paper — objects you can hold, shelve, and pass on.

Founded by Spencer Madrie, it started with a single record — Edgar Allan Poe’s haunting tales pressed to crystal-clear vinyl streaked with blood-red splatter. It sold out. What began as one pressing grew into a small, curated archive of gothic storytelling. We follow taste, not category — Poe, Lovecraft, the folkloric, the macabre — and ask you to trust the curator, not the genre.
